Russian investors plan to build a mountain resort in Kashkadarya

The first phase of the $300 million mountain resort will open in December 2026.
Russian investors are planning to build a mountain resort in Kashkadarya, reports the press service of the regional administration.
Regional Governor Murotjon Azimov received investors, including General Director of Kazan Ropeways LLC Denis Belov and architect of the Gordeev architectural bureau in the Republic of Tatarstan Mikhail Gordeev.
During the meeting, the parties exchanged views on the implementation of the “Ski Resort” project with a total land area of 2,600 hectares in the village of Gelon, Shakhrisabz region.
It is noted that the first phase of the planned mountain resort will be launched in December 2026.
Earlier, Spot wrote that Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan and Russia will create a common tourist mountain route.
In this regard, a memorandum was signed between the mountain resorts “Amirsoy”, “Rosa Khutor” and “Shimbulok”.
